S-Block is the innovative solution for clamping wire ropes ,which radically simplifies assembly with lower costs, but with a higher level of safety. The S-block clamp is made up of a characteristic aluminum body with 3 fastening screws attached; the system is clearly quicker and easier instead of common U-bolts made up of numerous parts and nuts to tighten. The fastening also takes up less space on the wire rope with an obvious amount of time saved. The S-Block clamps are used to secure wire rope fastenings in a variety of applications.

TECHNOLOGY

The technology of forcing the wire into an S-shape gives a high degree of efficiency without any damage to the rope. The tensile force along the rope tends to straighten the curvature, imparting a perpendicular force to the rope that prevents the sliding and ensures the locking.

QUALITY & SAFETY

The clamps ensure fixation of the wire to a degree of 100% of the breaking load of the wire ( test on 8 mm diameter wire rope) and they don’t lose efficiency over time. S-block has successfully passed several tests in accordance with the current European standards and it is used also as clamping termination in EN 795/12 and TS16415 devices.
